New at the Accidental Bakery

So many Holiday macarons this year!

So many Holiday macarons this year!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

When you write a blog post and the site hangs up and loses it all…. You have to assume that wasn’t the blog post you were meant to write. (Or throw the computer, which is a much more expensive action!)

2019 has been a crazy, crazy year for our family, and so many big changes happened that it seems a bit surreal. Long story short, we now live in Raleigh, I closed the shop/bakery in Beaufort and have sold Outer Banks Granola, and I am focusing on a home bakery that a) doesn’t kill me, b) I can have fun with, and c) gives me a chance to branch out again into teaching, catering, and other things I enjoy but have been too busy for.

So what to look for in 2020?

Hopefully, more regular blogging with usable content like recipes and baking tips. Maybe even some not-baking food posts, too, as I started out as a cook, not a baker!

Some form of classes/courses and interactive streaming, for those who miss the classes I did at the shop, want to learn more skills, or don’t know anything about baking but want to learn the basics.

Baking for the Raleigh area, the Beaufort/Crystal Coast area (please follow @JenningsBakes on Facebook and Instagram so you know when I’m coming down and taking orders), and (for some items) shipping (see the Shipping menu as not all bakes can be successfully shipped!). Please note the black out dates on our Home Page.

Private lessons in your home or mine.

I’ve also become a grandmama for the first time, so there may be a little baby love thrown in from time to time!

Thanks for all your support over these last 4 years! You’re the most amazing tribe ever, and I’m so grateful for all of you!

Have an amazing, happy New Year!
