The End of Winter!

Can you believe we're more than halfway through February?! While January was a bit of a breather (thanks in part to all that snow!), February has been full on. Thanks to the great article in the Carteret News Times, our already full roster of classes exploded! And we love that, because teaching classes is one of my favorite parts of the business.

This week is full of great events, and we don't want you to miss any of them! (Always check our Events Page for the latest updates!) Here's what's coming up:

Thursday, February 22, 6-7:30, my friend Alma Sipila will be doing a benefit concert for my nonprofit in Uganda, Ten Eighteen Inc. This is a FREE concert - we just ask that you consider making a donation. We'll have some free nibbles for you, too!

Friday, February 23, 6-8pm is Taste the World at the NC Maritime Museum. TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE, $30 in advance, $35 at the door. Over a dozen restaurants (including us!) will be participating to provide you with delicious bites, beer and wine tasting, and music. We have tickets at the bakery, or you can order them at the Beaufort Woman's Club website. All proceeds to to the Culinary Arts Program at Carteret Community College.

Saturday, February 24, 2-6pm is the fun-filled Mardis Gras on Middle Lane in Beaufort. We will have a tent full of delicious products to keep you going through the afternoon! We'll have some Mardis Gras themed goodies, scones, turnovers, and more, plus free party beads while they last!
