Fresh Bakes & Coffee Daily
Always from scratch!
We create original bakes every day, from scratch. In the early morning, we focus on breakfast foods: muffins, scones, and cinnamon rolls are often found in our cases. By mid-morning, our bakers are bringing out delicious quiche, pizza, cupcakes, turnovers, pies, cookies, and more. You never know what will turn up! Creativity, fun, and flavor are our hallmarks. Grab a hot cup of coffee or tea to go with your baked goodness and you're all set!
Books & Gifts
NOT JUST A BAKERY ANYMORE!
We now have a full retail section devoted to books and gifts. Most of our gifts are made in NC (and we know the few artisans who live in other states), and ALL are handmade with love, skill and craftsmanship. We love to promote to makers! We have a small but diverse book section, with a good number of books offered at a discount from the list price. Find your next beach read, mystery/thriller, fantasy, history, or even a book by local author (and owner of The Accidental Bakery) Jennings Wright.
Rates starting at $30/person
As a "retired" homeschool mom, Jennings loves to teach about her passions! Our ongoing baking classes are very popular, and offered at least monthly. In our hands-on classes, students make scones, pies, muffins, turnovers, and more -- you'll have plenty to take home and share!
Classes are offered to the public, but can also be booked for a private party. The minimum is 4 people, with a maximum of 10 or 12, depending on what we're baking.
Birthdays & Celebrations
Looking for a unique way to celebrate with your children? We can do a fun cookie decorating birthday party (or other celebration)! We can include many extras, such as a birthday cake or cupcakes, beverages, decorations, hats, aprons, certificates, and more. For children 8 and up.
WE LOVE A PARTY!
From custom cakes to a catered luncheon with a cooking demo, we can work with you to make your event special!
Olde Beaufort Farmers Market
We are proud to be a weekly part of the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market at Courthouse Square off Turner Street. The market runs from mid-April through mid-November, with a mid-December evening Holiday Market that has become the MUST-GO for holiday shopping events in the area. Dozens of great farmers, bakers, artisans, craftsmen, and jewelers, as well as musicians, guest chefs, non profit organizations, adoptable dogs, and even pirates join the fun each Saturday from 8:30-1:00 - be sure to check it out!
